Science and graphic design
I have always gravitated toward graphical design and have free-lanced as a graphic designer in the past. I incorporate visual design into my science whenever possible.
I run informal graphical design workshops aimed at scientists who want to learn the basics of Adobe illustrator, GGplot (R), and strategies for poster and presentation design. Feel free to email me if you would like to attend the next workshop (a mix of both in-person and online).
I designed the poster on the left for the Society of Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry (SETAC) Australasia Conference in Darwin, 2019. To see more examples of my science illustrations, click here.
